Meeting to Married Timeline!

Nov 2016 - Abby started working at Wooddale Church
June 2017 - Tommy started working at Wooddale Church
Oct 2017 - Tommy asked Abby out
May 2018 - Tommy proposed at Smith Coffee in Eden Prairie, MN
Oct 6 2018 - We got married!

You know when you just know something? It was like that for Tommy and I. We know we were meant to be when Tommy joined my small group and we started talking about the Lord in a similar way. We connected through the Spirit first and it's kept us together through some tough times.

Why our hearts are devoted to adopt

"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him." Romans 8:14-17

As we were dating, we had a list of 100 questions to talk about and in there, is the topic of family & adoption. Thankfully we were both wanting adoption to be a part of our future family!

After almost 3 years of trying to conceive, we saw our 4th doctor who discovered a genetic abnormality that has caused infertility and pregnancy loss. After the news, we spent a week in prayer and fasting, asking God if we should start the adoption journey. During our church's worship service that weekend, I felt the kindest response in my spirit from God saying, "It's Always Been 'Yes'"

It's Always Been Yes

We've always wanted a family and knew adoption would be a part of that story. It's not a backup plan or an alternative to biological children. It's always been yes!

We know that adoption is a picture of God's relationship with us. Because of Jesus, we're welcomed into the family of God with open arms. With our Heavenly Father, it's not our bloodline that makes us family but ONE choice. We've seen that in our own life and know adoption is another way to honor God.

Our hearts and home is especially open to twins 🤍

Meet the Fabre's

Thomas Ettienne (Tommy)

Strength Finders:

I grew up mostly with my mom living In Texas and throughout the Southwest and I'd fly to Austin, TX monthly to visit my dad and step mom. My mom is now in Denver and my dad & stepmom still live in Austin! We love visiting them both 🙌

I felt a call Into ministry at youth camp when I was 16 years old and chose to attend a Ministry School out of High School. Since then I've been In full-time ministry and have loved the skills I've gained, friends I've made and the Impact I've been able to be a part of.

I work as the Production Director at Everyday (Church) in Roseville, MN! I'm passionate about media and the ability to reach people with excellence. I also have a Real Estate Media company where I work with Realtors to market homes for sale!

I've always dreamed of having a big family! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We're praying for you, as you make these big decisions.

Abigail Marie (Abby)

I grew up as the second oldest of 5 siblings with my parents who loved each other and loved God. As in life, there were ups and downs but my parents did their best to always point the family back to God.

Although I grew up in Minnesota, I went to college in Tennessee, earning a bachelors in Business Administration and minor in Biblical Studies. I love my job as a Realtor and working on the sales team at a wedding company in the cities.

My Immediate family of 5 kids has grown into 9 with 7 nieces between the ages of 3 weeks & 13. We get together regularly for family dinners and weekends at the cabin!

I want to give our future family everything I had and more. Our parents loved us well, disciplined us when needed and ALWAYS pointed us back to God. As a parent, I think being that arrow is one of the most important roles.

Yendi

Yendi is the squishy-face, 4 year old, pug who loves people! Including his nieces who often jump on him, pull his twirly tale or hug him as hard as they can.

He's endlessly patient and lives for cuddles.
