Fall 2024 Update

I'm writing this a little late but wanted to share a big move that we made towards the end of 2024.

We joined a local adoption agency in the summer of 2023 with the hope that we'd get matched with a mom in Minnesota that we could build a long term relationship with. Although that is still the dream, we discovered that the agency doesn't work with a lot of expectant moms and we're not sure if they've placed any babies in the last year.

Tommys dad and step mom came out to visit MN in September and Linda asked, "Why are all your eggs In one basket?!" And you know what, she's right. So we decided to expand our search and we joined Faith Adoption Consultants! We began a boat load of paperwork and were officially approved to adopt nationwide at the beginning of Oct, 2024. FAC connects hopeful families with agencies all over the country (most of which only work with birth moms). It seems to be a good system where birth mom's get undivided attention and where we get more personalized connections.

We began seeing more cases right off the bat!! We're going into 2025 hopeful that this is the year God will add kiddos into our family 🙏
