BIG FUNDRAISING DAY!

WOW, we are blown away with the support of our village! Big thanks to my family and friends who helped us host 50+ people at our home. Tommy prepared 55 pounds of smoked meat to feed the crowd and we had a great spread of BBQ sides, cookies and a lovely punch.

Our fundraising BBQ was a big success with a silent auction and extra donations that added up to over $8,000 towards our adoption fees!

This week we also PASSED our Home Study which means, we're officially a 'waiting family' and an expected mom can choose US to parent her child (or children).

We continue to pray for God's timing and to get connected with the right family. We see our adoption as including the bio family - to whatever extent is appropriate - and are already praying peace, love, wisdom and joy over them.
